What is a Success ?

Hello Tilters ,
Straight to the point. Let us ask, “What’s Success?’

Then let’s dig into what’s ‘true’ success.
I too spent years trying to define ‘success’. Got inspired by every motivational talk and every inspirational book and got crazy about accomplishing something BIG in life.
Initially, I stated to believe that achieving BIG goals would make me taste success. As days passed by, I realized that what I was wanting to experience and what I was actually feeling inside were absolutely on the opposite.
I turned it a quest to find an answer to the same question you asked, “What’s success?”
I spent time reflecting on my understanding of the word ‘success’ as well as how others had defined it.
Days turned into months, I kept on keeping on, and still was not satisfied with the definitions I was getting.
Finally, after months of deep exploration, I discovered the answer from ‘The Strangest Secret’ by Earl Nightingale and ever since I am relaxed and deeply satisfied with whatever I am achieving.
Curious what it is? Here’s what I got to know from Earl Nightingale’s ‘The Strangest Secret’…
Put simply, you are successful when you are able to do what you love to do.
Wow!
It turned my perception of achievement and success, and I began to refocus on what I love to do - Speaking and Training!
May be you will find what you love to do and are passionate about!
And wish you success in your own way!

See every day all over the nation young people start working in new jobs. Each of them "wishes" that someday he could enjoy the success that goes with reaching the top. But the majority of these young people simply don't have the belief that it takes to reach the top rungs. Some of them think that they have get the job, they achieve the success of life, but this is not the true success.
But a small number of these young people really believe they will succeed. They approach their work with the " I'm-going-to-the-top" attitude. They learn how successful people approach problems and make decisions. They observe the attitude of successful people .And with substantial belief they reach the top after it they enjoy the true success of life.
So, true success really means freedom : freedom from worries, fears, frustrations, and failure.

Take  some time  out of your daily schedule to define True Success.

"Success is a process and a feeling; it's a warm glowing feeling inside about who I am, what I do, and how I am living."

This week, set aside a window of time just for you and answer these questions:
1. What does success mean to you?
2. What do you really want in your life?
3. What, above all else, is most important to you?

Then, take the essence of all these answers and put them into a single statement. This statement is your definition of True Success. It's what living  success... from the inside out means to you. Keep this statement in front of you; letting it act as your guide while you move along your path of true success.
True success? In my ideal and idealistic world of best success is that my actions, my thoughts and words somehow, even in the slightest way, contributed to another persons well being. It has happened a few times, I think. I think to approach a greater likelihood of that happening every day, no matter how small, would be success as well. It is never ending.
Of course, having grown up in the west, I also live with the pre-packaged standard model or ‘ideal’ of success in my mind. Owning a fancy red car. Some hotshot sex bomb. Endless wealth. All empty (though maybe not mutually exclusive to the former, just highly unlikely).

Out of my personal experience, I would say its...
FAILURE, a decisive factor in sticking to your goal and staying motivated. Handling failure is the most important skill a person can have and one must learn it.
I have seen people with extreme passion and talent get distracted from their goal because they failed once or twice. Failure could shake your self-confidence, make you feel not worthy enough to achieve your goals and at that point most people either give up on their goals or lower their self-expectations or add distractions to their life.
But only those people who understands that FAILURE is an inevitable part in the journey to SUCCESS has the motivation to keep going down that path with full enthusiasm. Failure is best teacher you could have and you should stop portraying it in a negative sense.Infact, you should be proud of your failures, because you know more than those people who have never tried and the irony is that when you will actually succeed, you will know more than those who never failed in their path to success.
So, don't worry if you failed at the most basic level, don't worry if you failed a gazillionth time, don't worry if everyone is laughing at your dreams, keep believing in yourself, keep persevering, you will eventually get there and when you will, you not only will know which one is the right path but also where the wrong path leads to.

A personal thought:
Whenever making a decision, don't see success and failure as a choice you need to make at the crossroad, but rather see failures as milestones on the path to success.
Success teaches us nothing; only failure teaches.

Be Business Man / Women

Hello Tilters ,
First of all , we discuss about , How can you become a Business man / Woman ?
Ans -

If you want to win the game, you need to first start playing.
Okay another one.
Want to swim? First jump in water!
I'll tell you, I had the exact same question a few months ago. You know, I get it, business is the way to obtain financial independence. OK. Enough with the motivational bullshit. Where to start?
It was at that point that a wise man told me the above line. I had attended a solar-panel installation seminar for businessmen. (I had attended specifically to see how business people think differently.) I got my lesson.
I basically decided to accept every opportunity that came my way. I read a lot about business. I observed live businesses. I even joined a network marketing business, because Robert Kiyosaki said so.
A few weeks later, my friend offered to start a business with me. I said yes. And guess what, we are to start the business within this month itself!
So technically, I have started playing the game. Time will tell if I win it or not.
So your takeaway, keep looking. And meanwhile, develop your skills that might prove useful in a business. Read, observe, learn. First say yes to learning opportunities. Think later.
I have found that, opportunities keep coming your way, just you need to recognise them. Say yes(untill saying yes becomes a burden. Then learn to say no, but that's for later). For now, keep looking.

Consider College
Having a college degree is not a requirement in becoming a successful businessman, but it does help. BBA and MBA programs give you knowledge to help stay successful in the corporate world. If you are determined start a business full time, and you want to devote your energy to this endeavor, consider taking business classes that will help you with marketing, financial matters and web site design. The Small Business Administration offers free classes to budding entrepreneurs in the basics of business. Also, find out about certificate programs in your area of interest. Credibility comes with licensing and certificates. Plus, if you plan to perform hands on technical tasks in your business, a license might be mandatory.
Apprenticeship
Consider taking an apprenticeship position and allow someone to mentor you. Find out about apprenticeships in your area. You might end up taking over the business one day. Becoming a businessman doesn't mean you have to own your own business. You can be a manager responsible for collaborating with partners, raising cash flow and running an existing business. This is a great way to start gaining experience while you save money to open your own shop.
Capital
Starting a business doesn't have to require huge investments. Some businesses you can start online with just your computer. If you have a skill such as editing, you can open your business online and market yourself by having potential customers email you writing samples. In this case, it might be best to take a certified editor course either online or at your local community college. Bookkeeping is another good job to consider because you can work from home using a financial software program. If administration is not your thing, consider something in the field of desktop publishing.
Possible Franchising
Consider franchising. The startup costs vary, but some might be reasonable for you. Franchising takes away some of the anxiety because you have a support system to help you . Most corporate offices that offer franchise opportunities provide step-by-step guidance in starting the business. It helps to have experience in the field you want to franchise because you can perform a lot of the tasks while you seek employees to help you. Also, some franchise companies offer breaks to experienced franchisees. For example, some staffing agencies will give you a break on startup costs if you already have staffing experience.
Starting a business right out of high school will have its advantages and disadvantages. More than likely, you're younger than the average business owner, so you run the risk of people not taking you seriously. Be firm, mature, confident and diligent. If you have these qualities, you will eventually succeed. Use your experiences as a younger businessman to your advantage. Develop a strong social media presence. Absorb all the experience you can. The younger you start, the more experience you gain and the more competitive you grow.
It would probably feel proud and thankful. The thing that makes me say that is because you took the risk, Worked hard and found success, Found the reward. and your thankful for your parents, Teacher and other people who made you this capable.
The thing that makes you proud is that you had a mission which you completed, a challenge you met.

In my opinion , What are the best business models ?
Zara!
The founder (Amancio Ortega) is said to be the most hated man in the fashion industry. Here’s why:
Zara’s original mission derived from Ortega’s job in an exclusive fashion store in Spain. While he was working there he started copying clothes from exclusive brands and sold them from door to door. Even today, that’s Zara’s strategy. They “copy” other designers’ clothes and while these designers have to wait about a month to get the designs in store, Zara mass produces them in Asia and gets them in the stores after only two weeks. In other words, they copy the designs of the big brands (Dior, Givenchy,…) and sell them way earlier. In that way they have expensive looking but cheaper clothes and they remain up to date with the newest trends.
However, that’s not everything!
Zara's strategy involves stocking very little and updating collections very often. Instead of other brands that only update once a season, Zara restocks with new designs twice a week! This encourages customers to come back to the store often. It also means that if the shopper wants to buy something, he or she feels that they have to purchase on the spot to guarantee it won't sell out. And thus, these guys are always one step ahead.
Consider them the Goldman Sachs of fashion: Not very ethical, but it works.
